Anjana Vidya Kendra was founded in 2001 by Brahmi Educational and Cultural Trust in Despandeguttahalli, a village near Bengaluru. It has grown into a full-fledged high school educating over 350 children, mainly from families of small-scale farmers, farm-workers and labourers. The school focuses on holistic education integrating life skills, ethical values, and environmental awareness.
